Description
We are seeking a Head Chef with an extensive fine dining background to work in our stunning five star spa chalet in Morzine.You must be a professional with talent and flair who thrives on using quality fresh ingredients and who is ready to work hard this winter.

With 16/18 guests each week you will be expected to provide a fantastic fine dining experience using locally sourced produce to meet the personal requirements of our guests.
* Preparing and catering for guest's breakfasts, evening canapés and a four/five course meal - each night being different and demonstrating your flair and passion for food.
* Catering for children's supper and serving earlier if requested.
* Preparing menu to fit within agreed budgets.
* Managing budget and providing weekly accounts.
* Maintaining the highest level of hygiene within the kitchen and ensuring the health and safety aspects are managed.
* Ensure kitchen facilities are in good working order
* Shopping for food on a weekly basis.
* Organising meals for staff six evenings a week.
* Training of Sous Chef.
* Reporting any maintenance problems within the chalet.

Requirements
* Recognised catering qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
* Extensive experience at fine dining level.
* Strong kitchen management skills essential and previous experience in training staff desirable.
* Teamwork - work closely with Sous Chef and Chalet Manager
* Flexibility - ability to juggle requests from guests and dietary requirements - nothing is too much trouble attitude.
* Customer service - ensuring guests receive the highest possible level.
* Previous hospitality or customer service experience.
* Highly passionate and driven with flair and enthusiasm.
