Head Chefs supervise and co-ordinate the activities of chefs, cooks and kitchen staff who prepare, cook and serve food. This usually includes all aspects of kitchen staff management, maintaining accurate accounts, menu planning, ordering, stocktaking, budget control and the maintenance of health and hygeine standards.
