Description

A physically demanding role for a strong, calm guide with a critical eye for safety and a pleasant and informative character.

As a guide you'll need to give clear, basic instructions on how to use the snowmobiles in a safe and sensible manner. You must be a good communicator with a working knowledge of the machines. Mechanical knowledge is not required but it would be a strong advantage.

You will need to memorise tracks and routes, ensure at all times that clients are safe and comfortable, and have a keen eye for spotting problems whilst at all times accounting for every member of your group. You must be able to react to situations, deal with unforeseen incidents such as personal injury to clients or colleagues or damage to the machines. Close interaction with the location coordinator is essential.

At the end of every trip you will be responsible for paying close attention to the condition of the machines, stock control of helmets and balaclavas. In cases of damaged or missing items, you must report them to the location coordinator and if necessary take the clients details for later investigation.

* Strong team player with good communication skills
* Organised and able to react to arising situations quickly and efficiently
* Have a good understanding of logistics and be able to coordinate a team and suppliers
* Able to resolve any client concerns in an instant and step into a situation and resolve it as and when necessary
* Self-motivated and confident in your abilities to deliver 100% customer satisfaction
* Customer service experience is an advantage
* Strong communication abilities
* Full clean driving licence
* 24/7 Attitude

Clients will look to you as a point of information which means you must be fully aware and knowledgeable about all aspects of they trip including timings, activities and general local knowledge.
