Do you have outstanding organisational and managerial skills?

The Role:
  • To manage and be responsible for the efficient operation of all TUI Ski functions in a specified Region including:
    • Chalet program
    • Rep services
    • Childcare services
  • To ensure that all the necessary Health and Safety inspections, paperwork and checks are performed in your Region and are correctly logged and stored.
  • To ensure that all Hygiene standards and other legal obligations are met in all units including catering facilities.
  • To develop the program and the business model in your region and outside.
  • Commercial Achievement of all financial results in your Region or Country.
  • Ensure maximum customer satisfaction through outstanding customer service from all personnel and programs in your Region or Country.
  • Ensure that all our brochure and product promises, as driven by the UK, the General Managers and the QA Manager are met.
  • Ensure Health and Safety standards are met and local and UK legislations are abided by.
  • Develop staff in your Region or Country through appropriate training programmes and succession planning.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years' hospitality management experience, preferably in ski
  • In-depth understanding of the overseas operation of a tour operating business
  • Food and Beverage management experience gained in a high volume multi-site environment
  • Numerate and capable of analysing, interpreting and using performance figures and management information
  • Combination of strategic, planning and organisational skills with operational management skills
  • Experience of 'start up' situations e.g. event management, new openings, seasonal situations
  • Ability to drive sales and generate revenues particularly in F&B and/or in ski pack sales
  • Experience of multi-site or distance management of staff
  • IT literate
  • Full, clean driving licence

Desirable:

  • Good spoken and written French, Spanish or German
