Description
Sunsail Clubs currently recruit for Club Vounaki in Greece. Sailing is like the way of life here. The resort offers something for everyone both on and off the water and is the perfect family holiday escape, especially for those looking to learn something new.
Our Kid’s Clubs cater for all ages from 4 months to 17 year olds, and our shorebased activities include Tennis courts, fitness Studio and Mountain Biking.
To manage an effective and efficient kitchen operation, delivering a high quality varied menu, enhancing the guest’s holiday experience, within a budget. Manage local relations with suppliers ensuring good quality ingredients are supplied in a timely manner
Responsibilities:
- Manage an effective and efficient kitchen operation
- Ensure the kitchen and surrounding area comply with all company health and safety standards and is a safe environments for staff and guests
- Ensure that all local and company policies are met regarding hygiene control.
- Implement and supervise cleaning rota’s for kitchen, storeroom and surrounding areas
- Compile menu’s and daily specials, working within budgets and seasonal produce.
- Manage the cooking of breakfast, lunch, dinner and any special meals for guest and staff
Requirements
- Passion for cooking and desire to produce high quality food
- Previous experience running a kitchen
- Be able to work under pressure
- Staff management skills
- Understanding of working within budgets
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation
- Ability to work as a reliable member of the team as well as working as an individual
- Highly motivated individual
- Good communication skills - oral and written
- Computer Skills Qualifications
- City & Guilds 901 & 902 or equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- First Aid certificate
