Description

Do you have management experience in the travel industry?

Area Manager responsibilities include:
  • Provision of in-resort Company representation to Crystal Holidays & Thomson & First Choice customers.
  • Maximisation & management of customer service, sales and operational efficiency at resort level.
  • To represent the company by providing information and resolving any problems that may arise.
  • To act as a figure-head and single point of contact within the resort communication network for customers, staff and suppliers.
  • Management of resort teams/staff for a given area/country. Ensure all paperwork (to include customer facing material) is completed/produced to the required standard and within deadlines set.
  • Through training and support, ensure every effort is made to achieve and exceed targets in the area of sales/quality/service.

Requirements

  • Team management experience in the travel or leisure industry overseas
  • Strong man management skills & staff handling skills with proven ability in this area
  • Strong coaching, guiding and training skills
  • Experience of multi site management overseas
  • Proven ability in sales and problem solving
  • Objective and personable approach to ensure solid intra-company relationships
  • Excellence in communication and the ability to communicate effectively by phone, email and in person in order to distance manage
  • Understanding of financial and commercial aspects of the business
  • PC Literate (essential) & driving license
  • Business and commercial knowledge
