A stay with Just Soh is not just an ordinary Chalet holiday. It is the attention to detail, personal organization, practical extras, and occasional luxurious treats that make a stay with Just Soh unique and memorable. As Chalet Manager, your role first and foremost is to be the standard bearer for Just Soh, ensuring that Just Soh standards are met in all aspects of running the chalet and that clients get the holiday they were promised. Your role is to oversea operations and be an active third member of the chef/host team.
You will be responsible for two lodges, each with a maximum capacity of 15 guests.
Responsible for:
* Ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the chalet
* Ensuring that clients are fully prepared for their stay and all expectations managed
* Preparation of hosts and chefs for the coming guests and their requirements.
* Maintenance of chalet
* Managing any client queries or problems
* Performing an admin role with basic book-keeping and budget tracking
* Care and maintenance for chalet vehicle
* Team morale and discipline
* Liaison with head office in London
Duties Include:
* Assisting chalet host / chef in mornings and on towel change days
* Laying out Just Soh surprise and delight client gifts every other day
* Maintaining adequate stocks of rooms guides, wine, gas, toiletries etc
* Sending countdown emails to future guests
* Organising lift passes for guests
* Cover for chef / host day off
* Evening presence on host/chef nights off to drive and check on guest welfare
* Prepare for changeover operations and assisting when not meeting guests
* Transfer guests to / from airport on an ad hoc basis
* Carry out weekly standard checks
* Primary driver on call three days a week
* Hold weekly teleconference with head office, with other Chalet Manager and to brief Host and Chef re: following week guests |

The Ideal Candidate will:
* Have a passion for the snow and an experienced seasonaire
* Be willing to get stuck in
* Hold a clean UK driving license or equivalent
* Be sympathetic yet direct
* Be a doer not a talker with an ability to stand on their own two feet
* Be Proactive and able to use own initiative
* Have a good command of French and knowledge of Microsoft Office software would be advantageous. |
