Consensio offer the highest paid salaries in the Alps and provides the opportunity to work in the most luxurious chalets in the French Alps.The key aim of this role is to provide a resort-based private chauffeur service to all our clients with full responsibility for the Consensio fleet of resort vehicles. There is a particularly strong emphasis in this role on our clients’ safety and well-being. This role incorporates some hosting duties within the chalet to assist team in creating a 5* hospitality experience for the guests.
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• delivering a first-class private chauffeur service to all clients. You will be required to work day shifts 6 days a week allowing only 1 ski day per week (hours are generally 0800-1800)
• managing and maintaining the Consensio fleet of vehicles and garages
• being proactive in assisting clients generally with any general queries or special requests
• minor chalet maintenance
• attending to chalet fire (inc clearing and stacking firewood)
• identifying other maintenance / health + safety issues and notifying Chalet Manager
• snow clearing of all pathways / driveways leading to and areas immediately surrounding the chalet (including all terraces and balconies)
• daily maintenance and cleaning of various chalet facilities (e.g. Jacuzzis/Pools)
• assisting with the safe transportation of staff and goods when required
• supporting and assisting each member of chalet team in their individual roles when required including FOH service when required, assisting providing cooked breakfast on chef day off assisting with cleaning and chalet duties on changeover day
• Turn down of all bedrooms on weeks needed ( rota dependant – may change each week)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
This role would suit individuals with the following skill set:

• at least 5 years driving experience
• knowledge of chauffeur etiquette is essential
• previous hospitality or customer service experience is essential
• excellent interpersonal skills
• excellent time management skills
• conversation French is desirable
• full clean UK driving licence
• previous off road or alpine / ice driving experience is desirable

  A DRIVING ASSESMENT DAY FORMS PART OF THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS. A DRIVING TRAINING COURSE IN THE ALPS ALSO NEEDS TO BE PASSED BEFORE THE SEASON STARTS.
