Description
The Haut Lac International Centre is now recruiting for our winter programme from December to April.
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic staff to work with school groups from the UK and Ireland as well as children from all over the world. The student’s ages range from 8 to 18.
When working with the kids the more of your personality you put in to your work the greater the response from the kids and the more rewarding the experience for everyone. If you are a young person who wants to experience working in a different country, in a vibrant and fun atmosphere, then this could be the job for you.
Responsibilities:
*Helping prepare meals as directed by the chef
* Cleaning the kitchen areas after each shift
* Cleaning the fridge room, freezer room and economat
* Ensuring rubbish is removed to the assigned areas
* Preparing and setting up breakfast
* Preparing and packing picnic lunches
* Cleaning the kitchen dishes
* Helping with maintenance tasks when requested
* Maintaining upkeep of equipment and building
* Campus duty on rotation
You will work split shifts with three days off each week.
Requirements
Requirements:
* Aged 21 or over
* Ability to speak French
* Previous experience
Other skills/abilities that will strengthen your application:
* Second Language ( German, English, Italian or Spanish )
* Driving license
* Experience working in camps
* Experience/qualifications working with children
* First Aid
