La Rosiere, France
La Rosiere is situated in the Upper Tarantaise and Savoie skiing area, on the French/Italian border. Together with La Thuile in Italy, it makes up the Espace San Bernardo ski area, allowing visitors to easily cross the border and enjoy skiining in two countries.
The Espace San Bernado ski area has 150km of piste, catering for skiiers of all abilities. There are plenty of green and blue runs at the bottom of the mountain, with the red and black runs at the top of the moutain and on the Italian side of the border.
The resort's position 1850m above sea level, and location means that it enjoys abover average snowfalls for the Trentaise region, as it catches weather systems from Italy and France. The resort is also south facing, so also enjoys plenty of sunshine.
