Description

Our luxury chalet in the Swiss Alps is looking for an Assistant Manager from now until the end of April. The position involves daily food service, light cleaning duties and deputising for the manager in her absence.
This is a diverse and extremely challenging “hands on” role assisting the Chalet Manager who has overall responsibility for every aspect of the chalet operation and for the performance of each individual member of the chalet team. The main emphasis in this role is on customer service, the key objective being to deliver a world-class hospitality service and to create unique and memorable holiday experiences for every client.

Responsibilities include:
  • customer service delivery and guest satisfaction (inc catering, transport, skiing, après ski, games/entertainment, child care, technology/communications)
  • proactive communication with guests to ensure all queries are answered and any special requests are met at the earliest opportunity
    housekeeping (laundry, cleanliness and presentation throughout the chalet)
  • assisting with the management, training and development of each member of the chalet team
  • general hygiene, health and safety standards
  • local supplier relations
  • assisting with management of the chalet budgets

  • previous 4/5 star hospitality or silver service experience

  • full, clean driving licence (preferred)
  • conversational German (preferred)
