We are looking for an Assistant Manager to assist our resort manager in the smooth operation of our Morzine chalets. If you are
hard working enthusiastic, have experience of chalet work, an eye for detail and experience of driving then you sound like the perfect Assistant Manager
for Riders Refuge!
Ideally you will have managerial experience and have worked in a chalet/hotel environment. You will need a valid driving licence, be a confident driver with plenty of experience preferably driving on ice and snow.
We can provide employment in both Summer and Winter seasons unlike most other chalet
companies with a great package and a chance to be involved in our
growing company.
All staff will be given training at the beginning of the season to
ensure you can deliver a holiday experience our guests will
expect.
General Description:
Your role will be to assist with the operational aspect of Riders Refuge, this will include work in the office when necessary and helping with the day to day running of the chalets and assisting the Resort manager.
- To assist the management team in the training and supervision of staff to ensure a high standard of food, service and cleanliness is delivered in each of the chalets.
- Liaising with guests to identify and solve any problems which may arise.
- Liaising with staff to be proactive so all chalet run smoothly.
- Manage weekly chalet paperwork.
- Manage petty cash accounts for the chalet teams.
- To assist with the operations of chalets including shuttles, hot tub services, day to day running, transfer information.
- Social media updates for Facebook and instagram and one blog per week.
- To ensure transfer days run smoothly in resort, linen pick up and drop off and high levels of cleanliness are being met for arrival.
- To drive transfers to and from Geneva airport on transfer days and other days as necessary.
- To assist the Resort manager in checking and manging stock levels in chalets and ensure the correct orders are being placed for hot tub supplies, bread, wine, meat etc..
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests in resort working with the Riders Refuge team, the promotion of resort events and services in order to generate income for the company.
- To provide cover for staff absences in the chalets.
- Any other task as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the company and to provide the best possible client experience.
- Uphold the resort reputation of Riders Refuge.
