Description

We are looking for an Assistant marketing manager for Alpine Elements, Ocean Elements and iGOSKi.  Principal role will be to assist in driving the Company’s online marketing campaigns and website strategy including website developments. In conjunction with the Head of Marketing you will also have responsibility for over-arching management of the group’s print requirements for brochures and Direct Mailers.  The role is therefore weighted more towards “on-line marketing” with an overview on the business print and other needs such as shows, in-house literature, brand protection, Client feedback (Feefo etc).

You will have previous Marketing experience within a tour operator, service industry or creative industry. You will have a good understanding of digital marketing and website management. You will be exceptionally creative, have great attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and be able to work alone and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing the group’s on-line presence (all brands) with the overall aim of increasing online traffic and reducing budget spend through PPC (E.g. Ad-words) and affiliate networks (paid for) in an ever more competitive and changing landscape.
  • Improving the quality of traffic online and reducing spend.
  • To manage and grow the customer database to achieve the widest possible distribution of sales and marketing messages
  • Managing weekly E-Newsletter campaigns (120k database)
  • Managing Groups’ periodic Direct Mailers and printed/online brochures (via in-house editor)
  • To assist in the development, design and delivery of our websites, digital marketing material, promotions and packages.
  • Management of company print – brochures, leaflets
  • Feedback from clients; Managing sites such as Feefo
  • Managing photographers and staff contributors for SEO content/blog content
  • To conceptualise, write and publish regular blog content that reinforces the agreed sales and marketing messages
  • Managing web content – staff posts, (blogs), images and movie content from subcontractors

What we are looking for:
 
The ideal candidate must display good writing skills, have clear communication and leadership qualities, as well as in depth experience and a “hands on” approach in organic SEO. A sound understanding of Google Analytics, affiliate networks and working with budgets. Having an analytical mind is key to strategizing our campaign and to providing effective reporting to MD level.

  • Progressive Experience in marketing or advertising 3+ years (E)
  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field (D)
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing (E)
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns (E)
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate (E) 
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels (D)
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments (D) 
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends) (E)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas) (E) 
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns (E)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints (E) 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking (E)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement (E)
