Description

We are looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic chef, with a love of food and the mountains, to complete our winter season team in Morzine.

As chalet chef you will be prepare and serve delicious and beautifully presented meals for up to 10 guests in one of our catered chalets, including breakfast with a daily cooked option, cake for afternoon tea, and a 3-course evening meal. You will have responsibility for managing the chalet budget, shopping for food and maintaining exceptional levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kit
chen.  You will need to be adaptable and creative, and able to cater to any special dietary requirements that may be requested by our guests.  You will have support from a chalet host / assistant and our small management team but you will have responsibility for the day to day running of your chalet kitchen.

We are looking for people who can meet the following criteria:

  • Either qualifications / experience in catering or a passion for food/cooking and confidence cooking for groups. 
  • It would be an advantage if you have experience in the ski holiday industry. 
  • You will need excellent time management skills
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude and an outgoing and welcoming personality
  • A flexible/adaptable approach to your work (no 2 days are the same!)

You will typically work 3 morning and 6 evening per week, with time off in the middle of the day to ski/board. You will get 1 full day off per week.

Requirements


  • You must be 21yrs or older
  • You must have full eligibility to work in the EU, and have (or be prepared to obtain) a UK national insurance number and bank account
