Our Chalet accommodation is set in a court yard with two separate units that can be used by one large group or as separate chalets. We offer both catered and self catered. On self catered weeks staff will have a mostly free week to ski and board.
We have guests that stay from a few days to a couple of weeks.
We offer top end breakfasts with fresh products from the bakery and a cooked option. Afternoon tea and 3 course evening meals with a selection of wines.
We are looking ideally for a Chalet couple or two good friends to work with us.
General hours are from 7.00- 11.00am and from 5.00- 10.00 with one full day off (an evening and the following morning)
Duties include between 3 staff
Cooking duties:
1)Lay the table suitably and as trained for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner.
2) Serve food and drinks at mealtimes, clear away and put dishes in the dishwasher.
3) Six days of the week prepare breakfast (cooked option), afternoon tea (including freshly made/baked cake) and a three course meal with wine.
4) Cook something specific for kids/vegetarians if required
Housekeeping duties:
1) Change all linen, towels, clean the chalet on the changeover day (normally it's Saturday)
2) Vacuum, mop all floors
3) Daily servicing of bedrooms, bathrooms as trained
4) Wash and dry towels in so they are ready for the following week. All stocked in the laundry cardboard
5) Clean cooker, oven, microwave and fridge
6) Every morning after breakfast tidy lounge and dining area as trained
7) Clean thoroughly all bathrooms
8) Remove all rubbish and re-cycle daily
9) Laying and lighting of fire
10) Pick up bread every morning from the local bakery
11) Prepare shopping lists and make sure that budgets are adhered to
12) Keep the chalet spotlessly clean at all times.
Host duties
1) Chauffeur service picking up guests from Apres Ski
2) Transfer service pick up and drop off at local airports
3) Build fire
4) Serve cocktails and drinks in the evening.
