Description

 

It is one of the most sort after jobs in Resort. As an Alpine Action driver / handyman you should be smart and presentable at all times, with a “can-do” attitude. You will need to be able to think on your feet in a wide range of situations. You will work as part of the team in Meribel.

You should be a confident driver and have worked in a recognised qualified trade.  You’'ll need to be over 21 years and have a clean full license.

  • Confidently transport clients to and from the airports and provide shuttles to and from the slopes at the beginning and end of the day.
  • Maintaining the properties in resort by performing daily visits and dealing with any repair/maintenance work required.
  • The transportation of client luggage
  • The distribution of wine and chalet linen, with assistance of recycling around resort.
  • Snow clearance and hot-tub maintenance around the chalets.
  •  full day off and one morning off per week, plus plenty of free skiing. Exception: Sunday (changeover day) & Friday (shopping morning). 
    Approximately 9 days holiday pay, paid at end of contract. 
    Contract is from around 11 Dec until mid-April Salary & Benefits

    You will attend an in resort training course at the beginning of the season with our management team. It is a fun but informative course before we prepare for the arrival of your first guests.

A bond of £350 is required. A £100 deposit is payable on signature of contract and the balance is then requested on 01 September when travel arrangements to the resort are made. This is returned at the end of the season on full completion of the contract.

Requirements

Eligibility

You have to be passionate about the mountains, skiing or boarding. You must be a confident driver, over 21 years of age and hold a full clean license. Previous experience driving larger vehicles, multiple passengers and abroad is desirable, but ot essential

Experience driving in Icey and snowy conditions also desirable, but not essential.
