Description

The Tasty Ski Company is looking for a Driver / Maintenance person for winter 2019/20. This is a diverse and exciting role that allows you plenty of ski or snowboard time with 2 days off per week. We are a small family run company who have a reputation for looking after our resort team really well. The role is split into 3 sections:

1. Driver Service: During the week you will do guest shuttles in an 8-seater minibus to and from the slopes in the morning and late afternoon. You will do this on 3 days during the week. On our Sunday changeover day you will do Geneva airport transfers for our guests from both Morzine and Le Grand Massif. Morzine is a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Geneva airport and Le Grand Massif is a 1 hour drive from Geneva airport.

2. Maintenance: This is an 'on-call' role and it depends how many things get broken in the chalets each week! Your tasks will include things like helping guests who have locked themselves out of chalets, fixing chalet doors that have become jammed, fixing leaking dishwashers etc. On 2 days a week you will be required to clean away chalet breakfasts and do a clean of the communal areas when the chalet hosts have their 2 mornings off during the week. You will also be required to transport various stock between chalets - for example toiletries, linen, drinks etc.

3. Host cover: This part of the role will only be required if we have staff illnesses in resort. On these occasions you will be required to fill in for the chalet host. This involves serving breakfast and doing a daily chalet clean in the morning, and serving dinner in the evening. Please note that this part of the role will only be required if we have team members who are ill during the week.

Requirements

- Qualification or experience allowing you to drive guests to Geneva airport. This is either 2 years of professional driving experience (with a letter of proof from previous employer) or a professional driving qualification - for example ROSPA.

- Recognised trade training certification in plumbing, electrics, joinery or carpentry. Not required but helpful

- 21 years old or above
