Description

Ski Cuisine prides itself in superior levels of customer service and we are looking for chalet assistant/driver that can maintain a high standard of work throughout the winter season.

We are looking to recruit staff who are conscientious, well presented, have a friendly and enthusiastic nature and who are able to manage their own time efficiently. You must be prepared to work as part of a team as many of your duties will involve assisting other members of our staff who run our chalets.

As a chalet assistant/driver you will meet many of our guests and will play a large part ensuring they have an enjoyable stay with Ski Cuisine.This is a varied role and a flexible and reliable approach is essential. Duties will include driving guests and staff to/from chalets, assisting with food/beverage deliveries, laundry sorting &  delivery, chalet maintenance, assisting the Resort Managers on change over day, helping the chalet staff when required and generally ensuring the guests have all they need to enjoy their chalet holiday.

A ski season is a fantastic way to spend the winter and although you will be kept busy there is plenty of free time in the middle part of the day to make the most of your Three Valley lift pass. Requirements

Chalet Assistant/Driver requirements:

A full UK clean driving license is required. Due to insurance candidate must have held the licence for a minimum of 3 years. Previous experience of driving a minibus/large vehicles is necessary and experience of driving in winter conditions would be useful.

An ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills is required and relevant experience of working within the hospitality trade is required.

Some previous experience of general maintenance, DIY etc would be useful for this role.

You should be able to work as part of a team and also independently.

It is important that you are able to mange your time effectively and be willing to put the needs of the guests first.

Being energetic and strong will make the job much easier as duties include deliveries to chalets, snow clearing, chopping fire wood etc.

You will be required to assist in chalets, for example helping on change over days with linen changes, housekeeping, guests arrivals and helping with luggage and general change over duties. Covering for staff in case of illness or injury and this could include cooking breakfast for guests or helping with general hosting, housekeeping etc

All applicants must have a full UK NI Number, British Passport & European Health Card.

Ski Cuisine is a private chalet company, based exclusively in Meribel, France. We operate four chalets, all chosen for their individual character and style. Our chalets vary in size and can accommodate between 8-10 guests.
