Description

We are looking for the best Chalet Managers to join our teams next winter.

 ***Minimum 2 years experience in management or team leading within the luxury hospitality sector – hotels, luxury chalet companies, yachts, villa companies, private households etc.***   


As a Chalet Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of one of our luxury properties during bookings alongside the chef. You will lead and manage the chalet service team to ensure our world class service is delivered at all times.

Working directly with the pre-arrivals managers, you will be involved in pre-arrival planning for the guests, ensuring that the holiday is tailored to their specific requirements and that they are beyond satisfied throughout their stay.

You will be expected to lead your team by example, perform duties alongside chalet staff and cover chalet hosts when they are off whilst providing logistical support when necessary.

It is important that you have the utmost ability to manage budgets and have excellent accounting skills.

The position is a richly rewarding role which will be demanding at times, meaning candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to work well in a team and alone, whilst using their initiative to think ahead.

Above else we are looking for dedicated, professional and passionate individuals who will look after guests in the utmost discreet and luxury manner.

 

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team in the luxury sector of the hospitality industry
  • Available to work full time from the end of November 2019 to the end of April 2020
  • A comprehensive knowledge of current 5-star service practices is essential as well as a good understanding of food and wine pairings
  • A good understanding of both spoken and written language in the resort you would like to work in will also be seen favourably
  • Exceptional at resort accounting and sticking to budgets where needed
  • British, EU or Swiss passport holders only. If applying for France, we can only accept UK passport holders currently
  • We expect you to be resourceful and able to think on your feet, adapting to constantly changing surroundings and situations
