Snow Trippin are a young company, and after having worked in our beautiful chalets for the past four seasons we have earned the #1 spot on Trip Advisor for our outstanding level of guest service and satisfaction.

This season Snow Trippin are looking for talented, hardworking & mature chalet manager to work alongside us and our luxury chalets located in St Martin de Belleville, 3 Valleys. We’re looking for a manager to join our team who wants to combine their love of winter sports with a passion and flair for food, and a desire to uphold our first class level of guest satisfaction.

We know that getting out on the hill is the raison d'être for wanting to work a ski season, it is afterall the reason we decided to set up our own catered chalet company! For beginners and powder hounds alike, we’ll make sure you get the most out of your season, and in return we expect 100% dedication to the job and an unrelenting drive to deliver the best guest service available.

Requirements

Applicants must be fluent in English and have a good level of French. You must also have a UK National Insurance number and bank account, must be keen to ski or snowboard and one of you must have a clean driving license. 

This position is ideally suited to an experienced manager or team leader ideally from the travel or hospitality sectors that offer a high level of service. 

You must also be able to;

Use your initiative to run an efficient and welcoming chalet service
Have a can-do attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach to service
Want to excel in providing the best holiday experience to our guests
Be keen to ski or snowboard

 

Your typical daily role will include but not limited to the following;

Management, assist with training and development of each member of the chalet team 

Customer service delivery – incl. service of breakfast, afternoon tea and formal evening meal if and when required 

Proactive communication with guests to ensure all queries are answered and any special requests are met at the earliest opportunity 

Overall responsibility for chalet cleanliness and presentation 

Responsible for all chalet laundry 

Overseeing of chalet budgets 

Completion of all financial and non-financial paperwork each week 

Communication with Management regarding pre arrival + post departure details 

General chalet maintenance – competently fix or escalate problems to management 

Maintaining general hygiene, health and safety standards 

Responsible for maintaining and improving local supplier relations 

Providing shuttle service to and from the ski lifts from both catered and self-catered chalets 

Covering staff days off Being on-hand when needed to ensure all standards are upheld
