Do you want to work for a company that cares about you? Cares about you having a great season in a world-class resort? Then this is the opportunity for you.

Skiology renowned for our foodie and environmental credentials are recruiting.

If you have not heard of Morzine you are going to love it. Morzine has the most amount of people who have completed multiple seasons in different resorts then decided that this is the best resort than anywhere else we know!

Skiology is all about creating an experience that guests come back for. Our team often tell us that one of the best parts of the job is the guests who come back season after season.

INTRO
We are looking for a friendly approachable person who is happy with a role that will vary from day to day. It is a split role between helping the Chalet Hibou team run their 14 person chalet in the morning, and getting Chalet Atelier and Hibou guests to and from the slopes on time. An outgoing personality who will always greet our guests with a smile is essential for this role as you are there to share the excitement of getting on the mountain in the mornings and the first pair of ears to hear what a great day it’s been when picking them up.
The allocation of time spent in the roles varies from week to week however overall could roughly be accounted as 50% driving, 30% hosting, 10% assisting the resort manager, and 10% minor maintenance.
Applying as a couple? This role works well in conjunction with the ‘Chalet Host’ position

TIMETABLE (ROUGH GUIDE)
Driving the guests 600m from our 2 chalets in Les Prodains to the lifts and back. Lifts are scheduled in the morning from 08:30 to 09:15 and 16:00 – 17:30.
Maintain clean and safe hot tub standards (training given)
Help the host and chef of Chalet Grand Hibou service the chalet to our high cleaning standards in the morning
Shop with the chefs on our weekly supermarket
Delivery of team storage requests (cots and high chairs)
Assist the Resort Manager in weekly cleaning checks for our self-catered chalets
Once a week evening taxi run to get the guests back from Morzine centre to their chalet on the team night off (between 21:30 – 23:30)
Help with the changeover for Chalet Grand Hibou
Recycling and refuse management
Minor maintenance when needed

The role includes complimentary meals (breakfast and dinner) and a slightly later start and earlier finish to the day than other team members. Most days will allow from around 11:00 – 16:00 to enjoy one’s full area lift pass.

BENEFITS & REWARDS

There’s life in the chalet and life outside of the chalet. We want everyone to be healthy, hit the slopes as much as they can, and have the resources and support they need.

ACCOMMODATION: We all need a good work/mountain/chill balance so all of our chalets are really close to the piste to maximise mountain time. As a couple (where possible) you will be given your own apartment with internet access.

LEARN NEW SKILLS: You’ll become the master of our set chalet menu – created by Skiology brother Luke Turner (former Fortnum and Mason Development Chef) – and learn how to deliver our award-winning service. This is the formula that our guests and team come back for again and again.

PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: We are a small team so you are certainly not a number with us. We foster an environment where you will be listened to, respected and rewarded. We will set goals for you and ask you to set goals for yourself. We have had many great successes over the years!

HEALTHY FOOD: Like our guests, you will benefit from nutritionally balanced meals, quality produce and beyond organic wine.

COMPETITIVE SALARY: We offer a competitive wage in line with the industry standards and based on your working hours, plus lots of additional benefits (see full list below).
