Description

Spend your winter in magical Lapland!

As a resort chef you will take a hands-on approach and assist the Head Chef in producing great meals for guests and resident staff in resort. 

With over 250 covers on three sites across the resort, each day will be an exciting challenge to produce meals for families eager to see Santa, adventurers setting of on a snowmobile safari, or avid Northern Lights hunters. Meals are hearty and wholesome and appropriate for the Arctic environment - often buffet service style. 

We are looking for chefs of all backgrounds and there are roles to suit those early in their careers and those with more senior experience. 

Requirements

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Qualification or proven ability in the catering industry.
  • Food innovation and keeping up-to-date with current food trends.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Supportive and able to enthuse others whilst maintaining a professional image.
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment.
