Ski Resort Guides

Courmayeur, Italy

The legendary ski village of Courmayeur is characteristically Italian, nestled at the foot of Mont Blanc, Europe's highest mountain, with cobbled streets, chic shops and fabulous streetside cafés and bistros. Its medieval-modern atmosphere complements a truly excellent offering of snow and piste: with more than 80% of skiable ground covered by snow cannons, snow is virtually guaranteed here.

Spectacular mountain scenery is the backdrop to Courmayeur's piste as well as its off-piste terrain, which is particularly popular with heli-skiers! Skiing is available for all skill levels and Courmayeur features a few of the most famous runs in the world, including the World Cup Downhill and the 6km-long International. There's a good diversity of apres ski options available at Courmayeur - and the appeal of authentic Italian pizza should not be forgotten!
