Ski Resort Guides

Seefeld, Austria

Seefeld is a large ski resort in the Tirol region of Austria. The resort offers a 900 metre descent, as well as cross country skiing and a terrain park.

Seefeld suites skiers and snowboarders with a wide range of abilities and levels of experience. The resort has a long running history with resident Toni Seelos' parallel turn innovation in the 1930s and hosting several world championship ski races.

Seefeld hosts an array of Austrian culture with its nightlife. The many restaurants and bars in the area serve up not only beer and live music, but also local tradition in the way of soups, perfect for recovering from the alpine outdoors.

Entertainment can be found long into the night with several bars and night clubs in the area, as well as a casino in the local Karwendelhof hotel. For those seeking more sophisticated entertainment, Hotel Klosterbräu offers an international orchestra during the winter season.

Seefeld is accessible by rail with its own railway station, and is only a 30 minute journey from Innsbruck Airport.
